| Our Black Dilemma |

earl writes, "As a black man I am proud of the values that my parents taught me. This is now my responsibility to teach my family. I read about the Million Man March to Washington DC but I don’t need Louis Farrakhan or any other man to take me to the Nations capital, to remind me of my responsibility to my family."

earl writes, "I asked him why aren’t you in school, why are u choosing to sell drugs? He then said because being in school is not going to pay my rent next month, or my car insurance, its not going to help me feed the baby I have on the way, but this stuff right here referring to the drug, is easy money, its not a 9 to 5 job, and I don’t have to sit in a boring class all day. "

earl writes, "Being an African American female, and knowing my ancestors past, and what it has taken for African Americans to gain little if any equality, I would love to see a black man become the president of the United States. In the end though, we should not pick based off of race and gender, we do need to pick who will better us as a nation"
