Being an African American female, and knowing my ancestors past, and what it has taken for African Americans to gain little if any equality, I would love to see a black man become the president of the United States. In the end though, we should not pick based off of race and gender, we do need to pick who will better us as a nation

| Our Childrens Education |

When in elementary kids are being prepared for the work they will see in Junior High, and in Junior High, kids are being prepared for the work they will see in high school. I thought in high school kids were being prepared for work in college. After looking at a website called kidsdata.org, I soon discovered in 2005 only 35.2% of kids actually met the requirements for a UC or Cal State.
